On the first day of our stay at cardigan we hiked a trail, we saw cellar holes, rivers and puddles, ect. One thing I noticed was that the cellar holes were examples of Human Environment Interaction, because we are digging holes and putting in houses/cellars. Another form of HEI were the yellow markings on the trees. On the hike we found a slug, and our instructor Andy, licked it. Supposedly that certain kind of slug had gel that numbs your tongue when you licked it.
